On August 11th , the first milking was done in Santa María’s farm new dairy.

Since then it is producing excelent levels of milk.

Steers from Santa María, La Floresta, La Rinconada and La Esperanza farms entered to Santa María’s finishing lots.

These animals will remain there between 70 and 90 days until they reach a weigh of 520kg.

The farming responsables of our farms in Argentina and Uruguay met at La Floresta farm and recieved an update on “how to apply efficient pulverizations”. This meeting was done as one of the many trainings Campos Orientales’ staff always recieve.

The pictures shows the veterinarian sent by the Uruguayan Farming Investigation Institute (Instituto Nacional de Investigación Agropecuaria, INIA) controlling the steers before they are loaded. Our steers have excellent finishing conditions for the demanding export market in Uruguay.

Today 240 steers were loaded with 530Kg of average live weight.

Soybean harvest at La Rinconada farm is making good progress. Even though this was not a good year, the yield results are higher than what we expected.
